Team Idea
FractalSpace is an experimental infrastructure system exploring deterministic data dormancy: identifying software artifacts that may not need to remain persistently stored because they can be recreated exactly and independently verified. Early blind tests have demonstrated byte-for-byte restoration with SHA-256 validation across multiple software workloads. For the AI Infra Summit Hackathon, I’m building a competition-safe demonstration focused on AI/cloud infrastructure, where generated artifacts, caches, builds, and other reproducible data can consume enormous storage footprints. FractalSpace is not presented as conventional compression; the goal is to test whether reproducibility itself can become part of the storage architecture. I’m building solo and am especially interested in feedback from cloud, storage, distributed-systems, and AI-infrastructure experts.
