Voice-Native Code Navigator
Developers lose flow constantly not because code is hard, but because navigating it is friction. Scrolling, hunting for functions, alt-tabbing to search — every switch costs focus that's hard to regain.
We're building a voice-driven navigation layer for VS Code. Hold a hotkey and speak naturally — "take me to the login function," "go to line 175," "open the auth file" — and the editor responds instantly. No rigid commands to memorize.
How it works: Speechmatics powers real-time transcription, accurately capturing technical vocabulary like camelCase function names that generic STT often mangles. Claude parses natural phrasing into structured intent (file, function, line, or search). A resolution layer matches intent against the codebase's symbol table via VS Code's Language Server, then executes instantly.
Result: hands stay on the keyboard for coding; voice handles navigation, cutting the context-switching that drains focus.
