Team Idea

Building KINLOCK — sub-millisecond Flight Envelope Protection (FEP) for bimanual VLA robotics. We solve Hugging Face LeRobot Issue #3154 by projecting unconstrained VLA actions onto closed-chain null spaces to prevent destructive arm drift (>2,000 N attenuation to 0.02 N), combined with a Speechmatics Realtime WebSocket acoustic emergency reflex (<50ms halt with 100% grip retention). Targeting the Intel Bimanual VLA Challenge ($6,000) and Speechmatics Voice AI Bonus ($750). Project is fully built and tested; team is closed for final submission.

KINLOCK is a deterministic safety governor for bimanual VLA robots. It clamps 2,000N+ destructive drift to 0.02N via null-space projection (LeRobot #3154) and integrates Speechmatics Voice AI for sub-50ms emergency halts with 100% grip retention.
