Team Idea

ZORN SIGHT is a fast, local multimodal AI system optimized for edge inference on Intel CPUs. Built around SmolVLM2, it supports real-time text chat, image understanding, and video understanding with smart frame sampling and evidence-based responses. ZORN SIGHT uses an optimized runtime architecture with OpenVINO acceleration, efficient preprocessing, memory-aware inference, and hardware detection to reduce latency and resource usage. The system is designed to work locally and offline after the initial model download, bringing capable multimodal AI directly to edge devices without cloud APIs.
