Bull-E-Bot is an AI-powered trading agent I'm building solo for the Alpaca AI Trading Agents Hackathon. It's an autonomous agent that analyzes real-time market data, generates trading signals using a mix of technical indicators and LLM-driven reasoning, and executes trades through the Alpaca API. Key features include configurable risk limits, dynamic position sizing, and a backtesting module to validate strategies before deploying live. The project explores how LLM agents can augment traditional quant strategies with contextual reasoning (news sentiment, macro signals, etc.) rather than relying purely on price action. Built end-to-end by one person — happy to share progress or collaborate loosely if others are interested.
