Team Idea

An autonomous AI options-trading agent on Alpaca for the hackathon. It selects contracts, sizes positions against defined risk, manages open positions, and exits without human input. Built on Alpaca's MCP server and CLI, with hard risk gates and backtesting on every strategy before it goes live. Defined-risk structures only no naked exposure. Running on cloud-scheduled execution so it trades unattended through every session, with monitoring across two time zones. Who we need: - Python — order logic, data handling, backtesting - Options knowledge — chains, spreads, contract selection, greeks Two of us so far, both with live trading bots in production. We're building in public with livestreams and video, so anyone joining should be comfortable on camera or happy to stay behind it either works. Serious about finishing. Looking for one or two people who want to ship something real by Sep 4, not just start it.
