Team Idea
Solo entry. I am building honest-wheel: an autonomous agent that sells
cash-secured puts on Alpaca, runs unattended on a VPS, and records every
decision — including the decision not to trade, which is most of them.
The angle is statistical honesty. The contest scores seven-day P&L, and our
own measurement says seven days cannot carry that weight: the minimum
detectable effect against SPY is 0.7658 Sharpe. So the agent publishes its
P&L and that number side by side, and states plainly that this week's result
is inside the noise band.
An LLM sits in the loop as a veto-only gate: it can block a trade the
deterministic rules approved, and can never authorise one.
