Building SPECIES — an evolutionary AI system that generates, tests, selects and evolves options-trading strategies using Alpaca. Instead of predicting the next trade, SPECIES evolves the strategy itself through population-based selection, crossover and mutation, then promotes the strongest strategies to Alpaca paper trading.
