WheelMind AI is an autonomous trading agent that executes the options wheel strategy on Alpaca's paper trading platform. The agent continuously analyzes market data to identify suitable stocks, selects optimal option strikes and expirations, and automatically sells cash-secured puts and covered calls. It manages positions throughout their lifecycle by deciding whether to hold, close early, or roll contracts based on changing market conditions and risk factors. Every trade and decision is logged with AI-generated reasoning and real-time profit/loss tracking, ensuring full transparency. Built using Alpaca's Trading API and MCP server/CLI, the system demonstrates how AI agents can independently operate and manage options-based trading strategies in a simulated environment.
