TradeGuard is a Next.js app that turns a plain-English trading thesis into a risk-checked Alpaca paper order, built so the AI can never be the thing that pulls the trigger. Claude (claude-opus-5, via structured outputs) reads your thesis alongside live account state and either proposes a sized trade with its reasoning and honest concerns, or declines — a vague thesis, a question, or an unsupported symbol all get turned down with a stated reason.
