Team Idea

Solo builder from Cali, Colombia (industrial engineering student). Building an AI time-and-motion study tool for manufacturing: it watches a video of an assembly operator, splits what each hand does (transport, operate, hold, wait) and produces the two-hand process chart, cycle time and idle time, ready for a methods engineer to review. Vision model served on AMD GPUs; the numbers are computed by code and checked against a hand-labeled ground truth.

Gilbreth: AI motion study from a workstation video

Film a manual operation with a phone. Gilbreth drafts the two-hand (bimanual) chart with Gemma 4 on AMD GPUs, flags method problems and estimates the seconds per unit you can save. A methods engineer reviews and approves it.
