"Desert Eagles team on AMD Developer Hackathon: ACT III Hackathon"

Team Idea

We are Desert Eagles, a two-person development team building Worksight, an industrial inspection and equipment monitoring platform. Worksight uses computer vision to detect manufacturing defects and time-series models to monitor machinery, identify abnormal operating conditions, and forecast potential equipment failures. The system combines visual inspection and sensor data in a single interface. Neural network inference runs on AMD GPUs using PyTorch and ROCm. We are open to collaborating with developers experienced in computer vision, machine learning, and industrial systems.

Worksight: Few-Shot Visual Inspection

Worksight checks industrial parts against 10–20 photos of good parts: no model training, a defect heatmap in under a second and an AI description from Gemma on AMD. The engineer confirms every decision.
