"Skill Branch team on AMD Developer Hackathon: ACT III Hackathon"
Team Idea
SkillBranch is an AI-powered adaptive job-preparation platform that turns a job description into a personalized learning journey. It analyzes the role, identifies required skills, maps prerequisites, and builds a time-aware roadmap based on the candidate’s experience level and available preparation time. Each topic includes focused lessons, examples, deeper explanations, interview-style practice, and quizzes. SkillBranch evaluates answers, detects weak concepts, updates readiness scores, and automatically adapts the roadmap by adding targeted revision without exceeding the user’s study budget. Progress, XP, study time, assessments, and journey state are persisted securely using Supabase, while a provider-neutral LLM layer currently powers role analysis, tutoring, assessment generation, and evaluation. The goal is to make technical placement preparation structured, measurable, adaptive, and focused on what actually matters for a specific role.
