Team Idea
Businesses receive invoices in diverse formats such as XLSX, CSV, PDF, JPG/JPEG, and PNG, including handwritten, scanned, and digitally generated documents. Manually extracting invoice, GST, tax, financial, and line-item information is time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when dealing with handwriting, inconsistent layouts, poor image quality, and uncertain data. The challenge is to build an end-to-end AI-powered GST Invoice Intelligence System that automatically identifies and routes different input types through appropriate processing pipelines, extracts and normalizes relevant information, validates GST and financial data, handles inconsistencies and uncertainty, and generates standardized JSON or structured tabular output. The system should provide a simple interface for uploading documents and inspecting extracted results, with particular emphasis on improving the reliable processing of handwritten GST invoices while supporting printed and digital invoices.
