Team Idea
Argus is a massively scalable, unified AI surveillance system deployed on the AMD Developer Cloud. Designed to ingest and process up to 1,000 concurrent camera feeds, it utilizes ROCm-accelerated inference pipelines to perform real-time optical character recognition (ANPR) for vehicles and high-dimensional biometric embeddings for facial recognition. By centralizing heavy AI workloads on AMD Instinct GPUs, Argus transforms passive security camera networks into an active, searchable spatial intelligence grid.
