Team Idea
AthleteAI is a sports movement analysis tool that uses AI and computer vision to analyze an athlete’s movement from a normal video. The goal is to measure useful information such as joint angles, range of motion, movement speed, different phases of a movement, and left-right symmetry. Instead of needing expensive motion-capture equipment, AthleteAI aims to make sports biomechanics more accessible using ordinary video and AI. The project will use AMD computing to develop and test the AI models for analyzing dynamic sports movements.
