Team Idea
**AutoMaintain AI** is an autonomous predictive maintenance system that monitors industrial sensor data in real-time to forecast equipment failures before they cause costly operational downtime. When the system detects an anomaly, it goes beyond sending a simple alert by utilizing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture to instantly scan complex technical manuals and generate precise, step-by-step repair instructions for field technicians. Designed specifically for the AMD Lablab AI Academy Challenge, the project leverages the AMD Developer Cloud and ROCm framework to efficiently fine-tune and run open-source Large Language Models. By harnessing the high-performance inference capabilities of AMD Instinct GPUs, the agent can process vast amounts of telemetry data and heavy technical documentation with minimal latency, ultimately transforming reactive maintenance into a streamlined, proactive workflow that saves industries both time and money.
