Echo Iris is a solo-built, local-first AI assistant project focused on useful, transparent research. For this challenge, I aim to build a research workflow that retrieves relevant information, answers with traceable sources, and clearly states uncertainty. The goal is an accessible assistant that can run on existing hardware without paid APIs.
