"Lone Layer team on AMD AI League Hackathon"
Team Idea
Many small distributors in India still take orders over phone calls and then write them down by hand, which is slow and error-prone. Vyaparvani listens to those Hindi calls and produces Hinglish transcripts a distributor can act on. I’m fine-tuning Whisper on AMD Developer Cloud GPUs, serving it behind an API, and measuring accuracy before and after. Next, I plan to extract structured orders (party, items, quantities) from each transcript, with uncertain parts flagged for human review.
