**STEMMA is building a canonical, machine-readable, reusable knowledge foundation for STEM. Instead of creating another application on top of fragmented educational content, STEMMA focuses on structuring the underlying knowledge itself so it can be reused by people, educators, developers, AI systems, and future educational applications. The goal is to create an open foundation that others can build, extend, and innovate upon.**
