Team Idea
Building my AI engineering foundation on AMD GPUs through the AMD AI Academy pathway. Over three months I'll work the bi-weekly mini-challenges end to end: serving a vision-language model for OCR on plates and road signs under adverse conditions, a retrieval-augmented generation pipeline that answers from mixed document corpora with exact citations, a web-scraping agent, a multi-agent software engineering solution, and model fine-tuning to teach a system a novel game. Every build ships as a containerized workload on AMD Developer Cloud, where I'm measuring GPU consumption, latency and throughput, and I'll publish write-ups of what worked and what didn't so other beginners can follow the same path.
