"SporeWithin Team team on AMD AI League Hackathon"

SporeWithin is an autonomous tactical AI swarm intelligence and dynamic horror ecosystem built for complex 3D voxel sandbox environments. Developed and architected in direct collaboration with autonomous Agentic AI Coding models, SporeWithin transforms standard video game entities from predictable cannon fodder into intelligent, self-preserving predators. Key Systems Demonstrated in the Project: 1. Dynamic Acoustic Propagation: Entities possess advanced 3D auditory perception. Firing kinetic or chemical weapons instantly breaks stealth, provoking nearby patrols to triangulate gunshot vectors and hunt down the player. 2. Self-Preservation & Scout Intel: Wounded scouts recognize when an engagement is lost. Instead of suicidal rushes, they disengage, break line-of-sight, deploy obscuring spore clouds, and sprint into the fog to report back to the Hivemind. 3. Global Threat Escalation ('They Know About You'): When surviving scouts reach a central nest, the global Hive consciousness permanently registers the player as an active threat, initiating tactical targeted sieges. 4. Structural Infiltration Physics: Siege swarms dynamically breach fortified player bases—acid spitters burn vertical shafts through ceilings from below, heavy brutes physically tear down walls with visual block degradation, and stalkers breach the interior. 5. No Safe Haven: True diegetic tension where physical fortifications are merely temporary delays against an evolving collective mind. AI Innovation & Tooling: The entire technical foundation—including GCD rotation mathematics, multi-part hitbox structures, acoustic triangulation, and memory optimization—was architected and coded using Agentic AI coding workflows. In addition, all video pacing, narrative structure, and media presentations were produced using generative multimodal AI toolchains.
