A month-long online challenge run by lablab.ai together with AssemblyAI, the Voice AI infrastructure company for builders. Every participant builds on AssemblyAI.
You can join at any point — registration stays open for the whole build window, so you can start on day one or pick the project up halfway through and still submit.

Build voice AI agents on AssemblyAI
This is a month-long online challenge from lablab.ai and AssemblyAI. A month is long enough to build something that actually runs, and short enough to keep the momentum — you have the whole window to take an idea from an empty repo to a working voice agent.
Every project is built on AssemblyAI, the Voice AI infrastructure company for builders, whose speech-to-text, voice agent and speech understanding models sit behind products like Granola, HeyGen, Ashby and ClickUp. Additional information about builder access and the challenge will be shared as it becomes available.
Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of previous AI or coding experience. Tutorials go live before the start, and mentors are in Discord throughout the build.
You can join at any point. Registration stays open for the entire build window, so it makes no difference whether you sign up on day one or halfway through. What matters is the submission deadline, and that one is the same for everyone.

Guidelines
How to participate
The hackathon takes place online on the lablab.ai platform and the lablab.ai Discord server. Please register for both in order to participate. To join, click the Enroll button at the bottom of the page and read the Hackathon Guidelines, the Getting Started Guide and the lablab.ai Hackathon Rule Book.
Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of previous AI or coding experience.
Before the kickoff, browse the AI Tech and tutorials pages to read up on the available technologies and get a head start on your project.
Teams
Teams consist of 1-6 people. If you don't have a team, don't worry. You can connect with other participants from all over the world on the dashboard or on the Discord server, where you can also find teammates and bounce around ideas.
