External ChangeOps Agent is an AI-powered developer workflow built with IBM Bob 2.0 that helps SaaS teams handle changes in external services their applications depend on. Modern apps rely on payment gateways, cloud APIs, SDKs, authentication providers, app stores, and partner APIs. When these services change APIs, policies, security requirements, or SDKs, developers must manually identify the change, determine its impact, locate affected code, implement fixes, and test them. Our agent automates this workflow: **Detect → Understand → Map Impact → Assess → Fix → Test → Review.** Specialized agents monitor external sources, analyze changes, inspect the repository, identify affected files and services, provide evidence-backed impact analysis, generate remediation plans or code patches, update tests, and validate the solution. Instead of simply alerting developers, it explains **what changed, why it affects their application, what needs to change, and whether the fix works.**
