MedDev Guardian is an IBM Bob 2.0-powered agentic developer workflow designed to make healthcare software development faster, safer, and more consistent. It coordinates the development lifecycle: understanding codebases, analyzing architecture, planning features, implementing changes, generating tests, reviewing security risks, documenting changes, and assessing release readiness. Specialized Bob subagents handle architecture, testing, security, and documentation while the main agent coordinates their work. Using synthetic healthcare data, MedDev Guardian demonstrates how IBM Bob can transform fragmented developer tasks into one measurable, efficient workflow while reducing manual effort, errors, and rework.
