Team Idea
The OIL Safety Intelligence Command Center is an AI platform built for Oil India Limited to automate safety log triage and prevent Severe Injury and Fatality (SIF) incidents. It parses unstructured Unsafe-Act/Unsafe-Condition (UA/UC) and near-miss logs in real time using a domain-trained NLP engine (FastAPI + Streamlit). The system classifies SIF potential, maps hazards to IOGP Life-Saving Rules, quantifies risk via a Severity Precursor Risk Index (SPRI), and surfaces spatial hazard patterns across rig sites. Team Requirements AI/NLP Engineer: Fine-tunes NLP transformer models to parse informal slang, typos, and multi-label IOGP rules. Backend Developer: Builds high-speed FastAPI endpoints (/api/v1/predict) and SQLite database schemas. Frontend Developer: Designs the dark-mode Streamlit dashboard and interactive Plotly heatmaps. HSE QA Lead: Validates SIF risk logic against DEKRA/IOGP standards and conducts system testing.
