Enterprises lose millions maintaining COBOL/Java 8/Struts systems nobody fully understands anymore the developers who wrote them have retired, and new hires spend months just reading code before touching it. We're building an agent, powered by Bob's multi-model orchestration, that ingests a legacy codebase, maps its real dependencies and business intent, then outputs a modernization roadmap plus a working migrated code sample (e.g., Java 8→17, or a legacy endpoint to a modern REST API). A visual before/after dependency graph shows exactly what changed and why it's safe. This directly extends Bob's stated mission take enterprises "from AI-assisted coding to production ready software" applied to the modernization problem IBM itself flags as core to Bob's value. Real-world impact: banks and government systems running decades old code get a faster, safer, auditable path to modern infrastructure without risking business logic they can't afford to break.
