Building PortProof, a semantic backport verification product powered by IBM Bob 2.0. PortProof verifies that a bug fix’s intended behavior actually survives when moved to an older release. Bob reconstructs source intent, maps the target architecture, generates executable evidence, and proposes bounded repairs. PortProof then freezes and deterministically verifies that evidence, returning PROVEN, NOT_PROVEN, or UNVERIFIABLE.
