Team Idea
A small UI change, like a renamed class or an extra wrapper <div>, can break dozens of Playwright tests. Teams lose 15–25% of each sprint rewriting selectors by hand.
Relocate fixes this on its own. When a test fails on a missing locator, it saves the page as it looked at the moment of failure. It then runs ZeroDOM, which gives every clickable element on the page its own numbered handle and a selector that matches exactly that element.
IBM Bob 2.0 then starts one subagent per failing test, all running at once. Each subagent:
- Audits: matches the old selector and what the test is trying to do to the right handle.
- Heals: swaps only the selector string, never the assertions.
- Verifies: re-runs the test until it passes, trying a fallback selector if the first one fails.
Every fix comes with before/after screenshots, a JSON receipt and a ready-to-merge PR. In our demo, three broken tests are fixed in 9 seconds.
