Our project is an AI-powered platform that analyzes news posts shared from Facebook, Instagram, X, and other sources. Users can upload or share a post, and the system extracts the key news claim and verifies it using a database of verified information and live news sources. It compares multiple sources to identify whether the news is verified, false, misleading, outdated, or unverified, while providing supporting sources and evidence. Core features: * Social media post analysis * AI-based claim extraction * Database & live-source verification * Multi-source comparison * Fake/misleading news detection * Evidence and source citations * Verification status and confidence score The goal is to provide a fast AI-powered fact-checking assistant that helps users verify news before sharing it.
