Team Idea
Cotes is building an autonomous trading system designed to detect major price displacements as they unfold — and trade them in real time. We use advanced signal processing and AI to extract structure from market data that conventional indicators and statistical approaches miss. Instead of predicting an exact future price, Cotes identifies high-confidence directional opportunities as they develop. For the WeAreDevelopers Hackathon, we're connecting the Cotes signal engine directly to the Alpaca Trading API, creating an automated pipeline from market data → signal → decision → execution. The goal is bigger than a single strategy or market. Our architecture is designed to operate across equities, ETFs, crypto, and other liquid markets, with Alpaca providing the infrastructure to turn our signals into real-world trades. Cotes finds the signal. Alpaca executes the trade.
