Dark Factory — a band of coding agents that refuses its own work.
For the pocketful track: a wallet and payments service where money must never
be created, destroyed or spent twice, under concurrent transfers, retries and
rounding.
Five coding agent seats share one BAND Desktop room, coordinating entirely
through @mention routing. Four of the five are forbidden from writing
production code: one implementer, one planner, three verifiers. Grading here is
literal and automated, so the advantage is not implementing faster — it is
refusing to hand off anything that does not conform. Any customs post can bounce
work back to the implementer with expected-versus-actual, and one deviation
rejects the whole handoff.
Handoff targets are never hardcoded: each seat inspects the room at handoff time
and mentions whoever holds the next role.
Building solo. Rehearsed before kickoff: 87 tests, 87 passing.
