Team Idea

We're SpiderDevs, and we're building AlgoPaca — a self-hosted trading desk that actually places trades on Alpaca paper, not just a backtest screenshot. Five engines already run (SMA, buy-the-dip, pair rotation, long/short, and an LLM desk). For this hackathon we're making sure every one of those cycles also trades options — mostly defined-risk verticals, with long calls/puts and hedges as alternatives. Risk stays mechanical so a missed options fill doesn't blow up the stock book. Team is closed; not looking for extra hands this week.
