You deposit Coinbase tokenized US equities as collateral and borrow stablecoins at a 60% loan-to-value ratio. The interest rate is zero because the protocol generates revenue from a covered call strategy running against the collateral pool, not from borrower interest payments. The collateral does the work so the borrower does not have to pay for it. Lenders earn delta neutral yield from covered call premiums on those stocks both from an onchain option trading app where options are priced using Alpaca trading APIs and through offchain covered call premiums by using tokenised stock as collateral/margin in Alpaca brokerage. Collateral is held through Alpaca which is a FINRA regulated broker-dealer in segregated custody, verified by Chainlink Proof of Reserve to capture >100% collateralization info at all times.
