SmartSurplus AI is an intelligent food rescue and redistribution platform designed to reduce food waste by connecting restaurants, food donors, NGOs, and community organizations. The platform uses predictive analysis to identify potential food surplus and calculates a rescue priority based on factors such as remaining food time, quantity, location, and urgency. It then matches available surplus food with suitable nearby receivers based on food type, required quantity, and distance. The system provides a centralized dashboard for monitoring rescue requests, priority levels, receiver matching, rescue windows, and impact metrics. By combining predictive surplus detection, priority-based rescue analysis, and intelligent matching, SmartSurplus AI aims to make food rescue faster, more organized, and more efficient while helping usable food reach people who need it.
