CodeGuardian is a static code analysis platform designed to help developers understand, evaluate, and improve the quality of their software projects. Users can provide a GitHub repository URL or upload their project as a ZIP file, and CodeGuardian processes the project source code to generate a comprehensive project health report. The platform analyzes the uploaded codebase by ingesting source files, breaking the code into manageable chunks, and running analysis on the project. It provides developers with structured insights into their codebase, helping them identify potential issues and understand areas that may require improvement. CodeGuardian is built with a FastAPI backend and a modern Vite-based frontend, with support for GitHub repository analysis as well as direct ZIP uploads. The system also maintains analysis sessions so that generated results can be retrieved after processing. The goal of CodeGuardian is to provide developers with a simple, centralized way to Analyze → Improve → Build Better software by turning an entire codebase into actionable project-health information.
