SecureReview Copilot
Software security reviews are often manual, time-consuming, and difficult to perform consistently. Developers must inspect code for vulnerabilities, verify security requirements, assess code quality, write or update tests, and validate that fixes have not introduced new problems. This can be particularly challenging for small development teams without dedicated security specialists. Security Review Copilot addresses this problem by providing an AI-assisted workflow for reviewing software security. A developer provides a project and starts a security analysis through the web interface. The system analyzes the project, identifies potential security issues and requirements gaps, and provides structured findings and recommendations that can help developers understand and address the identified problems. The target users are software developers, security engineers, students, and development teams who need a faster and more systematic approach to application security review. Users interact with the application through a web interface, where they can initiate an analysis and receive the results of the security review. The project's key innovation is combining automated security analysis with an AI agent capable of reasoning about the project, working with its source code, and assisting throughout the review process. Rather than simply presenting a list of vulnerabilities, the workflow is designed to help move from identifying an issue toward remediation and validation. The solution improves efficiency by reducing repetitive manual review tasks and providing developers with a structured security-analysis workflow. It can help teams identify security issues earlier and make security review more accessible to developers who may not have extensive security expertise.
