Scrabby - Build your ideas block by block
Scrabby is a tool that lets you build real projects through block code. Young developers are often overlooked and not seen as real developers, yet they are the ones who will shape the future. Research shows that many young developers find it hard to put their ideas into words. In this age of AI, where so much depends on prompting, being able to describe clearly what you want matters more than ever. The problem shows up in US education statistics: only 27% of US eighth-graders reached NAEP Proficient in writing. Research also suggests that planning in parts helps. In one study, 10- to 17-year-olds who broke a task into smaller steps tended to score higher than those who used one big prompt. Scrabby's Blocks let young developers do exactly that: split an idea into parts and map it out before anything gets built. Scrabby is built mainly for young developers between 10 and 18 years old. Many of them already know block coding from platforms such as Scratch, and Scrabby is a gateway to more ambitious projects. We found no other tool that turns a block plan into a real, interactive website.
