## CircuitMate — AI-Powered Electronics Troubleshooting Assistant CircuitMate is an AI-powered software platform designed to help electronics students understand, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic circuits in a simple and interactive way. Electronics learners often face difficulties when a circuit does not work as expected, especially when identifying incorrect connections, understanding component behavior, or finding the reason behind a particular circuit failure. CircuitMate allows users to describe an electronics problem in natural language or upload an image of a circuit or breadboard setup. The AI analyzes the provided information and generates a structured response containing the possible causes of the problem, relevant components, circuit operation, and step-by-step troubleshooting instructions. The platform can explain common electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, LEDs, sensors, ICs, Arduino boards, and other basic components. Instead of simply providing an answer, CircuitMate explains the underlying concept so that students can understand why a particular problem occurs and how it can be solved. ### Key Features * **AI Circuit Troubleshooting:** Analyzes circuit problems and identifies possible causes of failure. * **Circuit Image Analysis:** Allows users to upload circuit or breadboard images for component and connection analysis. * **Circuit Explanation:** Explains how a circuit works, including the role of individual components. * **Step-by-Step Diagnosis:** Provides an ordered troubleshooting process instead of a generic answer. * **Component Identification:** Provides information about common electronic components and their functions. * **Electronics Calculator:** Supports calculations such as Ohm's Law, voltage, current, resistance, power, and basic resistor networks. * **Learning Mode:** Explains electronics concepts in beginner-friendly language with practical examples. * **Common Fault Detection:** Highlights frequent wiring, polarity, component, and configuration mistakes. ### Example If a student enters: **"My LED is not glowing when I connect it to a power source."** CircuitMate can guide the student through possible causes such as incorrect LED polarity, unsuitable connections, missing or inappropriate current limiting, insufficient voltage, or a faulty component. It then provides a logical sequence of checks that the student can perform. ### Goal The main goal of CircuitMate is to make electronics learning more accessible by combining **AI, interactive troubleshooting, and educational explanations** in a single platform. Rather than replacing practical learning, CircuitMate acts as a virtual assistant that helps students understand their mistakes, learn the concepts behind them, and approach circuit debugging systematically. CircuitMate can be particularly useful for **first-year engineering students, electronics learners, hobbyists, and beginners working with breadboards, sensors, microcontrollers, and basic electronic circuits.**
