RepoPilot is an AI-powered coding assistant designed to help developers identify and correct errors in their code quickly and efficiently. Developers often spend significant amounts of time searching for bugs, understanding error messages, and determining which programming language or technologies are being used across a project. RepoPilot addresses these challenges by automatically analysing code and providing clear, practical corrections. Users can upload or provide their code repository, and RepoPilot scans the files to detect syntax errors, logical issues, bugs, and other potential problems. The AI then explains what is wrong and suggests or applies corrected code, helping users understand and fix issues instead of manually searching through large amounts of code. A unique feature of RepoPilot is its programming-language detection system. It analyses the entire repository and calculates the percentage of code written in each programming language. For example, a project could be identified as 65% Python, 25% JavaScript, and 10% HTML/CSS. This gives developers an immediate overview of their project's technical structure. RepoPilot is designed to be simple and accessible for both beginners and experienced developers. By combining automated debugging, code correction, explanations, and language-percentage analysis in one platform, RepoPilot reduces the time and effort required to understand and maintain codebases.
