DevVoice is a voice-first developer research assistant built for the native.builder hackathon (2026). It solves the friction of technical research by letting developers speak questions naturally and receive synthesized, cited answers from live web sources. Core User Flow: Tap the mic, speak a question. Speechmatics streams partial transcripts in real time — you can edit or re-record before submitting. The query runs through a Supabase Edge Function that executes an agentic search-read-synthesize loop: the LLM breaks the question into targeted Google searches via Bright Data SERP API, reads the most relevant pages via Bright Data Web Unlocker, and returns a formatted answer with clickable source citations. The answer renders as XSS-safe markdown and can be played back via TTS. Features: - Voice input with real-time partial transcripts, editable before submit, re-record support - Conversation Mode: hands-free orb interface with continuous listen/speak cycle - Agentic research pipeline: up to 5 tool-call iterations, never fabricates (explicit "say so" rule) - Markdown rendering: headings, lists, code blocks, tables, links — all XSS-safe
