Problem: Modern home appliances communicate malfunctions through cryptic alphanumeric error codes (such as Bosch E18, Samsung 3C, or LG OE). Consumers face confusion deciphering manuals, risking dangerous electrical or flood hazards through uninformed DIY attempts, while service providers suffer high triage overhead due to missing model specifications. Target Users: Homeowners, tenants, and appliance service support teams who require rapid, safe, and accurate appliance troubleshooting. Solution & User Interaction: SmartCare AI connects physical hardware to generative AI reasoning. Each appliance features a dynamic QR badge generated using machine metadata. When a breakdown occurs, users scan the sticker with any standard smartphone camera. Client-side URL parameter parsing automatically populates the machine model and error state into a web diagnostic dashboard without requiring app downloads or manual typing. With one click, an asynchronous FastAPI backend dispatches a 4-agent parallel pipeline powered by IBM Granite 3.0 via watsonx: Diagnostic Agent: Maps telemetry to root mechanical or electrical failure mechanisms.Safety Agent: Assesses live voltage, fire, and flood risks. Manual Agent: Retrieves manufacturer-verified repair protocols across brands like Bosch, Samsung, LG, IFB, and Whirlpool.Resolution Agent: Generates clear repair roadmaps with required tools and duration. What Makes It Unique & Effective: If a critical hazard is detected (such as a motor short circuit), the system enforces a safety lockdown, disables DIY steps, and exposes one-click technician booking. For minor issues, it delivers step-by-step resolution cards. By combining zero-install deep-linking with autonomous multi-agent validation, SmartCare AI ensures fast, hazard-free troubleshooting.
