Hi! I'm a student from Bangladesh 🇧🇩, recently completed my SSC and preparing for HSC. I'm passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Software Development, and building innovative technology solutions. I enjoy learning by building real-world projects and participating in hackathons and tech communities. I'm excited to explore AI, collaborate with other innovators, and create something meaningful with IBM Bob. 🚀

Modern developers often spend significant time understanding an unfamiliar codebase before they can make even a small change. Traditional AI coding assistants can answer programming questions, but they often lack context about the project's architecture, files, dependencies, and existing implementation. RepoPilot is an AI-powered development assistant designed to work with real-world codebases. Developers can connect a GitHub repository and ask RepoPilot to understand, modify, test, and debug the project. When a repository is connected, RepoPilot analyzes its structure, identifies the technology stack, highlights important files, explains the architecture, and provides an overview of potential issues. This gives developers a fast way to understand an unfamiliar project. Developers can then interact with the codebase through an AI coding assistant. For a request such as "Add authentication with protected routes," RepoPilot identifies relevant files, creates an implementation plan, and generates proposed code changes. Instead of blindly modifying the repository, RepoPilot presents the changes as a clear code diff so developers can review them before applying them. RepoPilot also includes a test and debugging workflow. Developers can run tests, inspect failures, and ask the AI to diagnose errors and suggest fixes. This creates a continuous workflow from understanding the repository to implementing and validating changes. The target users are software developers, students, engineering teams, and hackathon participants who need to work quickly with unfamiliar or existing codebases. What makes RepoPilot different is its project-aware workflow. It is not designed as a general-purpose chatbot that only responds with code snippets. It follows a development loop: Repository → Codebase Analysis → User Request → Implementation Plan → Code Diff → Test → AI Debugging The solution combines repository context, AI reasoning, code generation, and validation into one developer workspace. By keeping developers in control of reviewing proposed changes, RepoPilot aims to make AI-assisted development more transparent, understandable, and practical for real projects.
