AI Financial Investigator
Problem & Challenge: Small businesses and growing enterprises often rely on static spreadsheets, manual calculators, or physical notebooks to track their daily cash flow. While standard tools can aggregate basic numbers, they fail to answer critical strategic questions: Why did net profit decline despite higher revenue? Which supplier price hikes or product categories eroded margins? Where did unexpected overhead spikes come from? Manual auditing is time-consuming, prone to human error, and completely incapable of root-cause anomaly detection. Solution Overview: AI Financial Investigator is a real-time ledger intelligence platform and automated audit investigator built to bridge the gap between static bookkeeping and strategic financial advisory. Rather than simply displaying past totals, the system continuously audits transaction streams, tracks cash flow and profit trajectories, and provides natural-language root-cause analysis on demand. Key Features & User Workflow: 1. Real-Time Financial Intelligence Dashboard: Users get an immediate, high-level overview of Gross Revenue, Operating Costs, Net Ledger Profit, Gross Margin, and Refund Rates, accompanied by interactive cash flow trajectory charts tracking performance over time. 2. Interactive Scenario & Sensitivity Modeling: An executive forecasting suite allowing decision-makers to simulate sales volume adjustments and vendor cost fluctuations dynamically to see projected impacts on net profit before committing changes. 3. Natural Language Investigation Suite: Users can ask complex financial diagnostic questions (e.g., "Why did profit decrease?", "Which supplier increased costs?", "Are there unusual transactions?") or click quick prompt suggestions to trigger autonomous multi-step reasoning over ledger entries. 4. Dynamic Transaction Ledger & Simulation Sandbox: An audit trail offering full CRUD capabilities, instant presets (such as Supplier Cost Shock and Enterprise SaaS Inflows), CSV batch imports, and secure database purge controls to model custom corporate scenarios. What Makes It Creative & Unique: The platform pairs deterministic accounting calculations with conversational agent reasoning powered by IBM Bob and LangGraph. Instead of forcing business owners to dissect raw tables, it synthesizes ledger records into clear explanations and actionable operational strategies. Ai can tell the strategies as per data and also can ans to your Questions .
