AEGIS-Q
AEGIS-Q is an autonomous, defined-risk options agent built for Alpaca paper trading. It separates AI judgment from risk authority. Each cycle reads market data, measures momentum, trend and volatility, and constructs two fully specified opportunities: one bullish call debit spread and one bearish put debit spread. Deterministic code validates expiration, liquidity, spread structure, position size and maximum possible loss before the AI sees either candidate. The bounded AI can choose only the bullish candidate, the bearish candidate or abstain. It cannot invent contracts, change strikes, alter quantities or bypass risk controls. Alpaca then executes the approved position as one atomic multileg order. AEGIS-Q verifies the dedicated $100,000 competition account, Options Level 3 and the absence of unmanaged positions before entry. Once a position opens, it monitors profit targets, loss limits, days to expiration and the competition deadline. Every decision, order, fill and exit is recorded for auditability. The public dashboard shows the complete decision loop, and the repository includes a credential-free demo, Docker deployment, CI workflow and 20 passing automated tests.
