4+ years of experience
Software Engineer | Python Developer with 4+ years of experience in software development, specializing in AI/ML and Backend Development (Python). Transitioned from zero coding background in the pre-AI era. Wrote my first line of code in October 2020, received a job offer on May 14, 2021, and shipped my first production PR in June 2021 at an international fintech. Previously, Full-Stack Developer & QA Automation Engineer at Pocima (client: Grupo GDU), part of the team responsible for GDU's full e-commerce platform. Sole QA authority with full Go/No-Go release power on a multi-million dollar channel. Platforms achieved eCommerce Awards Uruguay nominations in 2024 and 2025. Participated in more than 10 projects that reached production. Featured project: Agentic Transactional Engine (MCP · RAG · FastAPI · RabbitMQ · PostgreSQL · Vertex). GitHub: https://github.com/agustindiazcano/mcp-transactional-agent Event-driven microservices system processing financial transactions through LLM agents, with structural prompt-injection defense and Double LLM-as-a-Judge validation. Chaos and load testing, deployed to Google Cloud via Terraform. Full CI/CD. Dashboard built with Streamlit. Prompt testing with Promptfoo. I'm currently an M.Sc. Candidate in Information Systems Engineering at UTN (CONEAU - Category A). My thesis investigates LLM-guided reinforcement learning for legged robot navigation, evaluating RBF networks as an interpretable alternative to MLP policies, benchmarked in MuJoCo and grid-based environments. Talk on ML, generative AI and GPT-3 during my coding bootcamp, March 2021, 20 months before ChatGPT. This project provides two pipelines built for the AMD AI League Challenges, running the Qwen2-VL-2B model on the ROCm ecosystem. The first is an OCR module designed to extract text from difficult images, such as angled license plates, blurry photos, and low-light street signs. The second is an Enterprise RAG engine that uses a local client-server setup and SQLite FTS5 to search through mixed-format corporate documents. It returns specific answers and exact file citations based only on the provided corpus. To ensure stability and stay within the 48 GB VRAM and 30-second time limits, both pipelines use static tensor shape pre-allocation. This prevents dynamic memory fragmentation and keeps resource consumption predictable throughout the evaluation.

TestMind AI is a test-quality tool that proves, with measured data rather than estimates, whether a python repository's test suite would actually catch a real bug and then uses AI to write the tests that are missing. Coverage only tells you which lines ran; it says nothing about whether your tests would notice a defect. TestMind AI injects small bugs into the code on purpose (flipped comparisons, swapped operators, changed constants, removed exceptions) using its own AST based mutation engine, no mutmut or stryker, then reruns the suite and reports how many of those injected bugs survive undetected. Beyond mutation testing, the deterministic engine also measures line coverage, ranks files by risk, discovers FastAPI endpoints with no test coverage and smoke-tests them, and runs Playwright-based visual regression with pixel diffing and basic accessibility checks. Every number in its dashboard comes from an actual measurement , nothing is estimated, rounded, or extrapolated by a model. On top of that measurement layer sits an AI fix loop: two agents running in sequence, a test writer and a critic, powered by either IBM watsonx.ai or Google Vertex AI (switchable per call). They write new tests aimed at the surviving mutants through a single tool that is hard-guarded to only write inside tests it can never modify source code. A suite of integrity guardrails, verified in CI, specifically neutralizes ways an AI could game its own score: reading secrets out of the environment, writing assertion-free tests, or artificially inflating the mutation score. A parallel, one-lane-per-file agent swarm is being built as a faster alternative to the sequential loop, but is not yet wired into the default path. The whole engine is exposed through a CLI, a web dashboard, and an MCP server, so any MCP-capable AI agent can drive the same measurements directly
