Paper2Code: AI Research to Executable Code
The AI reproducibility crisis remains a major bottleneck for the computer vision community. Researchers publish breakthrough architectures described in dense mathematical text, but translating those papers into functional, bug-free PyTorch codebases is manual, tedious, and highly prone to silent tensor dimension mismatches and shape errors that waste critical engineering hours. Paper2Code is an elite, end-to-end autonomous developer platform powered by IBM Bob 2.0 that bridges the gap between academic theory and production code. It ingests any computer vision research paper PDF, parses the core methodology, executes a rigorous tensor verification sandbox to guarantee zero dimension crashes, and compiles an all-in-one, production-ready, executable Jupyter Notebook (.ipynb). Target Users & Interaction: AI researchers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers. Users interact with the platform through our high-performance React 18 and Tailwind CSS dashboard: 1. Ingestion: Drag and drop any research paper PDF into the sleek, cyberpunk-inspired UI. 2. Agentic Execution: Monitor real-time agent terminal logs tracking parsing and verification. 3. Architecture Inspection: Review the Extracted Architecture Metrics Table (displaying parameter counts and tensor shapes for MLP, 1D-CNN, LSTM, and CNN-LSTM networks). 4. Instant Export: Download the Google Colab-ready `.ipynb` notebook or copy individual Python modules (`model.py`, `dataset.py`). Uniqueness & Value: Unlike generic code-generation chat wrappers that hallucinate syntax and break on shapes, Paper2Code features an active verification harness that programmatically validates tensor shapes before output. By combining IBM Bob 2.0’s multi-file context awareness with an elite developer interface and direct notebook compilation, Paper2Code transforms academic friction into instant engineering productivity.
