Smart-pr-reviewer
Smart PR Reviewer (powered by IBM Bob 2.0 and Agentv) is an AI-driven developer platform that automates code quality checks, accelerates developer onboarding, visualizes software architecture, and enforces security policies directly within CI/CD pipelines. 1. Core Architecture & Performance The platform runs on Agentv, a multi-agent system spawning up to 4 parallel subagents (e.g., doc_understanding, onboarding_guide, and AST compiler runners). Sub-20ms Analysis: Concurrent task processing delivers near-instant review results. AST Compiler: Combines LLM capabilities with a syntactic Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) compiler for 97%+ accuracy in detecting structural code bugs without execution side effects. Persistent Storage: An SQLite backend archives review sessions to track historical quality metrics over time. 2. Platform Modules & Features 📄 Developer Onboarding (/onboarding) Eliminates onboarding friction for new engineering hires joining complex codebases. Input: Raw README.md files or technical documentation. Processing: Measures documentation complexity metrics and extracts key domain concepts. Output: Generates a structured 4-Phase Ramp-Up Checklist to guide early developer progress. 🔍 Code Review & Refactoring (/code-review) Automated code analysis engine for Python, JavaScript, Go, and Rust. Security Scanning: Detects critical flaws like SQL injections and unsafe exception handling (e.g., bare except: statements). Quality Grading: Evaluates code health on a 0–100 scale with letter grades (A–F). Auto-Refactoring: Generates zero-regression code fixes that patch security and syntax issues instantly. 🕸️ Architecture Visualizer (/visualizer) Interactive codebase dependency mapping tool. AST Import Tracing: Scans Python import statements to map internal module relationships. Force-Directed Graph: Dynamic canvas allowing developers to pan, zoom, inspect import paths, and search modules. 🗺️ Tech Debt & Code Heatmap (/heatmap) Analytics dashboard for engineering leads to monitor software health over time. Score Trends: Graphs quality ratings across past review sessions. Rule Leaderboards: Identifies the most common bug patterns committed across the codebase. Category Breakdowns: Visualizes technical debt distribution using donut charts and category lists. 🤖 Interactive AI Chatbot – Bob AI (/chat) Specialized developer assistant powered by a 25+ Intent Classifier. Available as a full-screen workspace or a floating corner widget. Answers queries on vulnerability remediation, unit testing (pytest), production WSGI/ASGI deployments (Gunicorn), and software design. 🐙 GitHub Actions CI/CD Integration (/github-action) Automates code gating directly within Git workflows. Generates ready-to-use GitHub Actions workflow YAML configurations. Posts inline annotations directly onto active Pull Requests. Enforces Merge Gates to automatically block PRs containing critical security flaws. 3. Developer Experience Command Palette (Ctrl + K / Cmd + K): Quick page navigation, instant action execution, and sample test snippet loading. Keyboard Shortcuts: Hotkeys for navigation (G then H for Dashboard, G then C for Code Review, G then O for Onboarding, G then A for Visualizer) and Ctrl + Enter for instant analysis execution.
