This is a simulation game modelled on the recent Kaggriculture farm optimisation challenge on Kaggle. Instead of a farm, participants are tasked with using reinforcement learning to optimise the layout, product strategy, and labour allocation within a low-fi factory. Different market conditions and varying reliability and wear rates on machines make this a scenario that is resistant to deterministic sets of instructions; instead, players need to design and test a reactive agent that can deal with complex scenarios. It is expected that this solution will be further refined, but can later be used as the basis for a further Hackathon.
