SwarmDebug
Problem & Solution Statement The Problem Modern software engineering teams face an overwhelming volume of complex, distributed incidents. Traditional debugging workflows are often slow, reactive, and fragmented. Developers waste countless hours manually context-switching between code repositories, runtime logs, and performance metrics to isolate even a single bug. In fast-paced environments or critical hackathon constraints like the IBM hackathon, this manual triage bottleneck delays deployments, increases technical debt, and exhausts engineering resources. The Solution: SwarmDebug SwarmDebug is an advanced, parallel multi-agent software health intelligence platform built to completely transform how engineering teams tackle complex code anomalies. Instead of relying on manual investigation, SwarmDebug coordinates specialized AI subagents that work collaboratively at swarm speed to stress-test codebases, hunt anomalies across logs and runtime states, and generate guardrailed resolutions. Target Users & How They Interact SwarmDebug is designed for software developers, DevOps engineers, and technical leads who manage large or fast-moving repositories. Users interact with the platform through a sleek, dark-themed Command Center UI. Through this responsive dashboard, they can monitor real-time incident queues, track repository health metrics, and observe interactive agent workflows in real-time. What Makes It Creative & Unique What sets SwarmDebug apart is its Parallel Signal Hunting engine (swarmEngine.ts) paired with robust mock data simulation (db.ts). Rather than checking code linearly, three specialized subagents concurrently inspect logs, runtime state, and source files to isolate anomalies instantly. Furthermore, its Context-Aware Diagnosis traces symptoms seamlessly across repository history and dependency graphs, while its Guardrailed Resolution engine automatically proposes explainable patches with confidence scores before any code ever touches a protected branch. Efficiency and Effectiveness Built on a high-performance tech stack utilizing Next.js (App Router), Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and Lucide React, SwarmDebug delivers a seamless, high-performance demonstration experience. By automating the heavy lifting of signal hunting and patch generation, it drastically reduces Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR), empowers safe code modifications, and elevates software reliability to the next level.
